Agreement to These Terms

These terms apply when you use our website or book service with us.

If a written estimate, work order, or invoice for your job includes specific terms, those terms apply to that job together with these Terms. Where they conflict, the job-specific document controls for that job.

Services, Quotes, and Estimates

Quotes are based on the information available at the time and are confirmed on site.

We provide residential and commercial garage door repair, installation, replacement, maintenance, opener, and related services in the Boise area and surrounding communities.

• A quote given by phone, text, email, or through this website is an estimate based on the information you provide.
• The final scope and price are confirmed after a technician inspects the door on site. If the inspection shows the job differs from what was described, we will explain the difference and get your approval before doing additional work.
• Prices on written estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate.
• After-hours and same-day emergency calls carry an emergency service premium, which is disclosed before work begins.

Information on this website, including guides, cost explanations, and service descriptions, is general information. It is not a quote and does not replace an on-site inspection.

Scheduling, Access, and Cancellations

We confirm appointment times with you and ask for safe access to the work area.

When you book service, we confirm the appointment time by phone or text. Arrival times are estimates and can change because of traffic, weather, or emergency calls ahead of yours. We will let you know if we are running late.

• Please make sure an adult (18 or older) who can authorize the work is present, or arrange access in advance.
• Please clear vehicles and stored items from the area around the door so the technician can work safely.
• Please secure pets away from the work area.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible at (208) 480-5077. Any cancellation terms that apply to special-order doors or parts will be stated on your estimate.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is complete unless your estimate says otherwise.

We accept cash, check, credit card, ACH/bank transfer, and Zelle. Unless your written estimate states different terms, payment is due when the work is completed.

Custom doors, special-order parts, and some commercial projects may require a deposit before materials are ordered. Any deposit amount and its refund terms will be stated on your estimate before you approve the work.

Warranties

Warranty coverage for your job is stated on your estimate or invoice.

New doors, openers, springs, and other parts may carry manufacturer warranties. We will pass along manufacturer warranty information for the products we install. Any workmanship warranty we provide, including its length and what it covers, will be stated on your estimate or invoice.

• Warranties generally do not cover damage caused by vehicle impact, misuse, accidents, weather events, lack of maintenance, or repairs or modifications made by others.
• Warranties do not cover normal wear of parts that wear out with use, unless the warranty document says otherwise.

Your Responsibilities

Accurate information and safe use help us do the job right.

You agree to provide accurate information about your property, the door, and the problem, and to tell us about any known hazards in the work area. You are responsible for using your garage door safely after service, following the manufacturer's instructions, and keeping the safety sensors clear and aligned.

If you notice a problem after service, stop using the door and contact us. Continuing to operate a door that is not working correctly can cause further damage or injury.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent allowed by Idaho law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boise Garage Door Repair Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or the use of this website, including lost time, lost business, or loss of use of the property. Our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
